Liquid Dynamics Project Overview
In December 2023, we carried out a commercial EV installation project at Liquid Dynamics International Ltd in Reddish, Stockport, Cheshire.
The client wanted to install a new distribution board and electric vehicle (EV) charger in the business car park of their hydraulic and control engineering company.
Our Solution
To meet the client’s needs, we recommended and installed an 8-way TP&N Schneider distribution board situated on the front workshop wall. This distribution board was installed back-to-back with a new electric vehicle charger.
As the car park is accessible to the public, security was an important consideration. We therefore proposed the installation of a Rolec socketed SECURICHARGE EV charger which features a robust steel enclosure.\
The Results
Despite the unique challenges of working in a busy engineering workshop and running cables at high levels, the project was completed within a timeframe of a few days. Careful planning and effective communication enabled us to overcome these obstacles efficiently.
