EV Charging Grants

As part of the UK government’s environmental conservation efforts, they recognise the potential obstacles to public adoption of electric vehicles, including factors such as cost. To help combat this, grants are currently in place to support those saving the environment with an electric vehicle. For all work completed using any government grants an OZEV-approved installer and equipment must be used.

What is an OZEV-approved installer?

OZEV refers to the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (previously known as OLEV). This is the team responsible for the transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) in the UK. An OZEV-approved EV charger installer is an electric vehicle (EV) charger installation professional or company that has been officially recognised and accredited by Office for Zero Emission Vehicles in the United Kingdom.

To become an OZEV-approved installer, companies must meet specific standards and criteria set by OZEV. These standards typically include ensuring that the EV charging installations are safe, reliable, and compliant with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Saving money on your electric vehicle charging unit installation has never been easier with EV Charging Company. As an OZEV-approved installer, not only can we help you save money, but we also take away all the hassle and stress by applying for the grant on your behalf. The only money that you will pay is the nett amount of the charging point and installation, with the grant taken off.
