The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS)

With the EVHS grant, you could reduce the cost of your home charging unit by £350.

EVHS Grant Eligibility Checklist:

You have dedicated off-street parking.

Your plug-in vehicle was purchased after 1st October 2016.

You have not already claimed the grant for your vehicle.

You are not exceeding the limit of two OLEV funded charge points per household if claiming the grant.

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)

The WCS is a voucher-based scheme, providing support towards the up-front costs associated with the purchase and installation of the chargepoint for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations. A total of £350 per socket is available, with businesses and organisations able to install up to a maximum of 40 sockets. As a result, businesses are entitled to a grant of up to £14,000 for their workplace.

WCS Grant Eligibility Checklist:

Your business has dedicated, sufficient off-street parking.
WCS vouchers are valid for 120 days from date of issue.
You cannot claim for existing charging points at your business premises.
